Remuneration value up to $514,452 p.a. comprising salary between $9,360.20 p.f. - $9,924.00 p.f. (L25-L27) or remuneration value up to $470,780 p.a. comprising salary between $7,827.20 p.f. - $9,091.70 p.f. (L18-L24)
The dual trained Staff Specialist role will be comprised of 0.5FTE General Medicine and 0.5FTE sub-specialty duties on an alternating fortnightly basis.
- The General Medicine role will include rotating through the Acute Assessment Unit and General Medicine Teams as well as participating in the on-call and weekend roster.
- The sub-specialty role will involve inpatient consultation, outpatient specialty clinics and relevant procedural lists. Close collaboration with specialty peers from other centres will be supported and encouraged.
Single-trained General and Acute Medicine Fellows will rotate through the Acute Assessment Unit and General medicine Teams as well as participate in the on-call and weekend roster.
The Staff Specialist will get to work with a clinical case mix that is broad, challenging and very professionally satisfying.
